The Mutant 4x4 is an Exciting Body Swap Conversion for the Classic Range Rover or Land Rover Discovery.

To build the car the body shell is removed from the donor car and replaced with the pre-painted or powder coated Mutant cage, It simply bolts in place using the ten mounting points the donor body is removed from, it’s a good idea at that point to check over all serviceable parts and repair or replace as appropriate.

Some very special flat pre-painted rust proof panels are then bonded in place to complete the car.

Most frame and panel colour combinations can be accommodated.

To complete the snug wind and rain proof experience, the front and rear screens are fitted with safety glass, the solid doors are steel frame with flat panel inserts and Perspex windows.

Doors can be hung with fixed or lift off hinges and close against a fixed weatherproof door seal.

The donor cars complete interior with bulkhead and dashboard is retained along with the engine, drive train, suspension, braking systems and electrics, if you have ABS or air-con etc it all stays in place, you can even re-use the electric mirrors if you want!.
